Educating the Best Pharmacists

in the World

Our History
Future Events

Our organization aims to

  • Allow students with a special interest in pharmacy to join a group where they can share their ideas and concerns.

  • To serve as an information and resource center for students in regard to the preparation, the application, and the interview process for admittance into graduate pharmacy school.

  • Provide opportunities to network with admission representatives, faculty, and alumni pharmacists who work in a variety of career settings.

  • Facilitate students' understanding of the pharmacy profession.

  • Services to provide a medium for guest speakers to engage with those interested in the pharmaceutical sciences.

  • Provide several community service opportunities with those who have a shared professional interest and provide academic support for our members.

The Pre-Professional Pharmacy Association has a relatively short but proud history. The Pre-Professional Pharmacy Association is a pre health professional student organization of Howard University that was created to expose our members to all aspects of Pharmacy as a career, to equip our club members with the tools and knowledge necessary to be admitted to a pharmacy school, and to build lasting relationships that will provide for a mutually uplifting experience. We welcome students from all backgrounds with interests in the pharmaceutical profession.
